Welcome to another year here in the Media Center! What's a good book that you've read lately, or is there a book you have heard about that you want to read?
The best book i have been reading is the search for delicious its about the king is making a new dictionary and he sends out Gaylen to each town and see what every one else thinks what delicious is in their new dictionary. Meliha
I have been reading a book on the Holocaust. It is called Alicia My story. Its about a 14 year old girl going through a lot with her family and friends. She goes through a lot of deaths of family members and best friends. She went to jail for a crime she didn't commit and just because she was Jewish. She is a very strong young lady and in sorrow of everything she has gone through, she still wants to live. This book however is not in the library.
You did not spell like or odd right and are you getting Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck? It the 8th book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series.Can you believe it! - Benjamin P.S. I did not read the whole book either
I have been reading a book on the dust bowl .It's about a ten year old girl named Billie Jo .Her mother is gone and her father doesn't want to talk about .She is a loner now that her mother is gone and she is in sorrow of what happened and also is selfcenter. ~Tori

I have been reading Animorphs a series about a group of 4 kids a nothlit and an Anadilte . Jake,Cassie,Rachel,and Marco are the four humans. Ax is the Anandlite. Tobais is the nothlit who can morph again.also you wont learn the last names of Jake and Rachel. I'll tell you its Bereson. Their cousins.
I had read the second book of Animorphs and in the first book the Andilite prince get killed by visser three. Isn't that sad and he also said that have Rachel , Jake , Tobias , Marco , AND Cassie. Oh yeah Tobias stayed a bird for too long and now he is a bird................... forever. Benjamin
Danny The Champion Of The World is a book for Battle of the Books. It is about a little boy named Danny. He lives with his widowed father.There is a hunt for peasants [ thats a kind of bird ] Danny learns that his father is one of many hunters trying to shoot the valuble bird. But above any body else, Danny comes up with a revelutionary hunting tecnique for hunting involving soaked raisin and sleep pills. Danny then becomes the champion of the world by hunting a bird.
You are so lucky that your read the #44 #41 #50 #45 #23 #39 #29 I only read the first book of Animorph and I really want to read the second book SOOOOOOOOOOOO badly
Alley H. Lately I read a book called Danny the Champion of the World. It is a book from the fish grade battle of the books. It is really good I think everybody should read it. It is about a boy that is a mechanic. He finds out his dad goes poaching during the night. He soon finds the best way ever to catch peasants. I am not going to tell you how because I don't want to spoil it for you. It is truly a great book. it is a little boring at first but is picks up so don't think is is a bad book until you get at least half way through.
The book I am reading is called Spirit Animals Wild Born. This book is really interesting and keeps you wanting to read. It is about four kids who have to drink the ''Animal'' nectar and the kids spawn these legenary animals that saved the land a long time ago.
What I've been reading is Zero Tolerance. This story is about a girl named Siarra Sheperd and she acsadently brought her moms lunch.It had a plastic nife and there is a no nife's at school.She's is in a two month suspention. She is a strait A student in suspention. Do you think she will have to go to a new school or stay?
I have been reading is The Lemonade War. This book is about a brother and sister who get in a fight and they each make their own lemonade stand.Whoever wins gets the money that the other makes. Who will win? Read the book to find out. from soccermania

I am reading a book called Rainbow Magic Katie the Kitten Fairy. It is about two girls who see a kitten and follow it. The kitten is magic and it leads them to an area where evil goblins are. They work for the evil Jack Frost. Angela
I have read a book called Mummies are not Softball Coaches. It is about Kids who think their soft ball coach is a mummy and they think he likes diamonds so much.Creepy isn't it ?
I read a Goosebumps.It was about a girl name Kat. Who was going to do a video blog in his Uncle's house. But her phone gets smashed. Now she cannot do a video blog and she thinks her Uncle did it because he said he is not ready to meet people. Her letter she was going to write to her parent is ripped in half so she thinks her Uncle did that too.Anyways: her Uncle is making robots that look just like him
I read a book about Kwanzaa. Do you know "Harambee" in African is "lets pull together"? Kwanzaa lasts for 7 days.The African people do thing on each day. Day 1: Unity Day 2: self-determination Day 3:collective work and responsibility Day 4: cooperative economics Day 5:purpose Day 6: creativity Day 7: faith.That it was they do in each 7 days.Kwanzaa was made in 1966 by a African teacher name Maulan Karenga . Kwanzaa means "first fruits" in Swahili. ~Benjamin
Me and my class read Beauty and the Beast.It is about 4 girls and there father and 1 of the girls is kind and the other girls are mean and selfish.Then one day there father was traveling and got lost in the woods.Read this story to find out what happens next.We liked the story.Written by Richard,Jack,and Sarah.

this is SKYLAR and TASHA In ''BEAUTY AND THE BEAST'' THE DAD gos to BEAST'S HOUSE and the beast takes care of the dad then the next day dad picks a rose and almost dies from the beast!
Wolf island is a good story because its narrative nonfiction.We really like this story EDWEN,MYA and EMMA.The story is about wolves leaving an island to go to the mainland.
we read One Small Place in a Tree and we did not like it. Because it was boring and it was not exciting.And we all ready know about nature.Trevor; Alexandra; Cody.
We like ''Damon and Pythias'' because it was a play.Also we didn't like ''Damon and Pythias'' because it was to long.We sort of like it and sort of don't. Ben,Elise,and George.
We like ''Wolf Island'' because,it is a interesting story, the story is about wolfs that leave a island and to many deer come to the island MANNY,ALLANA, William
In Teammates, there was this guy named Jackie Robinson and another guy named PeeWee Reese. Pee Wee was invited and Jackie was kicked out of the game. This story is real life and it is about baseball.
I had just finished a book called A Season of Comebacks today. The book is about a girl who is jealous of her sister because she plays baseball on television and everybody in California likes her.Her sister's name is Allie and she is the greatest baseball player in California and the girl plays baseball too but she .plays in the little leauge .The girl has a Baseball team name The Cookie monster.
We just read ''Make Way for Ducklings''.It was realistic.We really liked it because it was realistic and fantasy.Also it was awesome! It took place in Boston.The Mallards went to real places and really far.
We like "One Small Place in a Tree'' because it teaches us about nature.Now we know what lives in a tree.Timber Beetles,Flying Squirrels,Blue Birds,White Footed Mice.Michael,Hails,Jacob
Teammates is all about Jackie Robinson and his teammate Pee Wee Reese.Jackie Robinson was the first African American to play in the major leagues. We liked the story because it taught us when whites and blacks were separated for segregation.
Teammates was a great book and it was sad.But people were being mean to Jackie Robinson. People were being mean to Jackie Robinson because he was black and they were white. by Emma, Cameron, and Sam
Make way for ducklings was a very awesome book, because i love hearing books about history that happened in Boston, it was also one of my favorite because i love how the auother threw in a bit of entertanment by making the animals talk. Jacob
I thought that Beauty and the Beast was dramatic and sad. I thought Beauty and the Beast was a good story.I thought Beauty and the Beast was AWESOME. Cole,Michelle, and Vincent.
Damon and Pythias are friends.I read DAMON AND PYTHIAS and I didn't really like it.The story Damon and Pythias is a story is about true friendship.Madison Aidan and Shereen.
We all like Goodbye 382, Shin Dang Dong, the word chummy sounds funny. The name was foreign, Jangmi. There was a child that moved from Korea to America.
Damon and Pythias was a story about friendship.Damon and Pythias were very good friends! So I hope you liked Damon and Pythias! Tyler! Maggie! Rheanna!
Rugby and Rosie is a good story because...It shows a sign of friendship.It is about two dogs that do not like each other but later they do.They become friends but Rosie has to leave to help a blind person!Julia Sean and Grace

Make way for ducklings was a good book but it wasn't my favorite book.Make way for ducklings was a OK book but is wasn't the best book on the world. Make Way For Ducklings, I liked how it took place in Boston and how they used Charles River and, Public Garden.From Sean,Isabelle and, Talia.
Teammates was about Jackie Robinson playing with Pee wee Reese.We disliked this story because Pee wee Reese should not be on the field.We really did not like this story. :( Makenna,Donny ,and Justin

I really liked the legend of Damon and Pythias because it was about kindness.I liked the story because it was about friendship.I liked the story because a friend gave up his life for his friend and it was interesting.
Wolf Island was a good story because it had a lot of animals and we learned a lot about them. We thought it was sad because some of the animals got sick and died because everything got out of balance. Jenessa, Katie, Jacob
I just read a book called Camp Knock Knock. The book is about were this Kid name Willie says he is the best doing knock knock jokes.But this other kid name Crow say he is the best at everything. So Crow and Willie has a knock knock joke contest and they have to make a joke about a kid's name. At the end of the book Willie cannot think of a joke about a name Freddie Ornat. So Crow gives Willie until campfire time to think of a joke and Willie did and Willie one. P.S. I read this book on Christmas Eve.You will probably already know that because above my comment it will say December 24,2013 ~ Benjamin
About two days in May.It's ok but very,very,very long.Now if you rilly want to read it that is ok.P.S.it is an Imaginit book. by Emma,Logan,and last but not least MADDY!The groop of three.

In Teammates, there was this guy named Jackie Robinson and another guy named PeeWee Reese. Pee Wee was invited and Jackie was kicked out of the game. This story is real life and it is about baseball.

I had just finished a book called A Season of Comebacks today. The book is about a girl who is jealous of her sister because she plays baseball on television and everybody in California likes her.Her sister's name is Allie and she is the greatest baseball player in California and the girl plays baseball too but she .plays in the little leauge .The girl has a Baseball team name The Cookie monster.
ReplyDeleteWe just read ''Make Way for Ducklings''.It was realistic.We really liked it because it was realistic and fantasy.Also it was awesome! It took place in Boston.The Mallards went to real places and really far.

It's an ok book because it has beauty in it. it is a good book because it has a battle and action. One of our group members didn't like the book.

Damon and Pythias got in jail. Damon begged the police officer so Pythias could go home to his family. We loved the book.

Wolf Island was a good story because it had a lot of animals and we learned a lot about them. We thought it was sad because some of the animals got sick and died because everything got out of balance.

The book is about were this Kid name Willie says he is the best doing knock knock jokes.But this other kid name Crow say he is the best at everything. So Crow and Willie has a knock knock joke contest and they have to make a joke about a kid's name. At the end of the book Willie cannot think of a joke about a name Freddie Ornat. So Crow gives Willie until campfire time to think of a joke and Willie did and Willie one.
